The full name of the ECFA is the "Framework Agreement on Economic Cooperation across the Taiwan Strait" and basically covers major economic activities such as cross-strait trade and investment. If the tariff rate for relevant commodities is reduced to zero in 2012, it will save about 18 million yuan. â€
