In January 2015, Bridgestone (China) Investment Co., Ltd., which manages Bridgestone's tire business in China, officially released the 2014 Sustainability Report (CSR Report) (hereinafter referred to as the “2014 CSR Reportâ€). The report not only summarizes the actual achievements of Bridgestone (China) in daily business activities, environment, safety, and social contribution activities in 2014, but also solemnly announces to the society that Bridgestone persists in fulfilling its social responsibility. We will continue to promote the solid belief in social contribution.
The 2014 CSR Report is based on the deep corporate philosophy and corporate culture heritage of Bridgestone since its inception, and combines the new concept of social change to clarify the premise of “contributing society with the highest qualityâ€. On the one hand, Bridgestone reflects the socially required CSR issues in the “ideal posture†and refines it into “22 topics†for CSR activities. On the other hand, through comprehensive understanding of the understanding of Bridgestone Group's CSR activities by every employee in the world, we strive to promote CSR work throughout the Bridgestone Group. Regardless of whether it is for the internal or external environment, Bridgestone will attach great importance to and carry out social responsibility-related activities in parallel with business operations.
2014 marks the historic moment of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Bridgestone (China). Adhering to the concept of “Corporate Social Responsibility is the operation itselfâ€, Bridgestone is gradually improving the tire business system in China, continuously introducing and implementing advanced technologies and diversifying high-quality products, and actively deploying technical services integration covering the whole country. Sales channels, in order to consolidate the company's "highest quality" mission of goods and services dedicated to consumers. In addition, Bridgestone (China) has cooperated with four factories and technology centers under the umbrella to jointly contribute to social contribution activities such as “safetyâ€, “environmental protection†and “regional specific issuesâ€. In the seventh year, the “Bridgestone·Happy Happiness Board†and the “Year Insurance Jade Ecological Protection Project†entered the second three-year plan.
