US Enterprise Products (Enterprise Products) recently said that it will build a world-class propane dehydrogenation unit on the coast of Texas in the US with a designed capacity of 750,000 tons/year. The unit will be integrated with the company's existing natural gas liquid (NGL) and propylene production facilities. The device is expected to start production in the third quarter of 2015. The propane feedstock will be supplied using NGL Fractionation and Storage Systems, an enterprise product company located on the coast of Texas. It is planned that by 2015, the NGL fractionation capacity will be increased to 708,000 barrels per day, and then 177,000 barrels per day of propane feedstock will be provided.
