With the wide application of diesel generator sets in many fields, the noise processing capability of the generator set is also increasingly demanding. Because once the acoustic value is as high as 118 decibels or more, it will cause serious environmental pollution, affect people's normal work and life, and destroy the physical and mental health of the human body. Especially schools, hospitals, government units, and communities are paying more attention to the noise reduction performance of diesel generators. The following is a series of five diesel generator component shell value detection techniques taught by Xingguang Xiaobian.
1. Do not exceed 1M test distance when testing the generator set.
2. The decibel meter tests the noise test at 1M and 7M from the diesel generator set when testing the generator set.
3. Choose a venue with no buildings in the sky. No noise or barriers increase the noise of the generator set twice.
4. Several noise data must be tested at several angles outside the generator set before the final decibels of the diesel generator set can be comprehensively derived.
5. Select to test the decibels of the diesel generator set during the dead of night so as to avoid other noises causing inaccurate data on the diesel generator set test.
The difference between ASME/ANSI and API is the fabrication material and a higher rated API operating pressure.
ASME/ANSI flanges are commonly used in industrial process systems handling water, steam, air and gas. API flanges are manufactured for high strength operating refinery systems with products such as oil and explosive gases.
The flange standards API 6A and ASME/ANSI B16.5 have the same dimensions – but the API 6A flanges are rated for higher pressures as indicated below:
