CMP launches anti-fouling ingredient Selektope first brand marine coating

Recently, Chugoku Marine Paints (CMP) of Japan launched its first brand of marine coatings with anti-fouling ingredients Selektope.
The Selektope marine coating developed by I-TECH AB will prevent the barnacle from standing on the ship's casing by temporarily stimulating the swimming behavior of the barnacle larvae.
According to Masaya Hata, general manager of CMP's sales, "These new low-friction SeafloNeo hull coatings will meet the needs of today's shipping market. Seaflo Neo CF Premium hull coatings are particularly effective for owners looking to optimize ship efficiency in highly polluted areas, and Seaflo Neo-S Premium hull coatings are very effective when the boat spends more time at rest."
It is reported that CMP's new Seaflo Neo series of antifouling coatings will enable Selektope coatings to be offered in two major brands: Seaflo Neo CF Premium and Seaflo Neo-S Premium.
Based on polymer technology, Seaflo Neo CF Premium is a coating with a service life of more than five years and is the ideal coating for ocean-going vessels operating around the world. The coating has been used in ships owned by shipping companies headquartered in Switzerland, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan.
Seaflo Neo-S Premium coatings are based on silicon-based polymer technology and are specifically targeted at low-activity ships.
Chief I-TECH executive Philip Chaabane pointed out that “after 16 years of research, testing, certification and industrialization, we are proud to be part of CMP's new advanced antifouling coatings line.”
“Selektope has been used in the mainstream shipping business and under the more stringent conditions caused by more serious pollution.”

Features
1. Using steam or heat transfer oil results in large heating area, uniform heating and high thermal efficiency.
2. The heat and mass transfer of wet material film in the same direction helps achieve higher drying rate.

3. Yutong scraper drum drying machine is particularly suitable for drying thermosensitive materials.
