Argentina’s Foreign Trade Commission recently announced Resolution No. 39 of 2012 to open anti-dumping investigations on PET (polyester chips) originating in China, Korea, Taiwan, India, and Thailand. According to the request of the Arab countries, the company involved shall submit the questionnaire to the unfair competition division under the Deputy Secretary of State for Trade Management and Policy within 30 days from the date of receiving the questionnaire. Within 10 working days from the date of publication of the preliminary report, the relevant stakeholders can provide evidence. In addition, within 10 working days from April 26, relevant stakeholders may submit comments on the choice of Brazil as the alternative country for the market economy of the case.
